🍮 Trending Flan (Venezuelan Crème Caramel) Recipe

This recipe is known for its smooth, creamy texture and rich flavor.
​🌟 Ingredients
​1. Caramel (Bottom Layer)
​150 grams granulated sugar (about 3/4 cup)
​2. Flan Mixture (Custard)
​8 to 10 large eggs
​1 can sweetened condensed milk (approx. 370g / 14 oz)
​1 can evaporated milk (approx. 400g / 12 oz) - You can substitute this with whole milk if needed.
​1/2 cup dry milk powder (approx. 65g)
​1 teaspoon liquid vanilla extract or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
​Pinch of salt
​🧑‍🍳 Instructions
​1. Prepare the Caramel
​In a saucepan over medium-low heat, add the granulated sugar.
​Let it melt without stirring with a spoon. You can gently swirl the pan to ensure even melting.
​Once the color is a deep amber (be careful not to burn it, or it will taste bitter), quickly pour the caramel into the bottom of the mold or pan you will use for the flan.
​Swirl the mold to coat the bottom and sides slightly, then set it aside to cool and harden.
​2. Prepare the Flan Mixture
​In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the vanilla and salt gently (using a hand whisk) to avoid incorporating too much air.
