Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (20 oz) frozen hashbrowns , thawed
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (10.5 oz) sausage gravy
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) .
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage
- In a skillet over medium heat , cook the breakfast sausage , breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat and set the cooked sausage aside.
Step 3: Prepare the Egg Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs , milk , salt , and black pepper until smooth and well combined. This mixture will act as a binder and add moisture to the casserole.
