Instructions
1. Season and Sear
-
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
-
Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Sear the pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side until they develop a golden-brown crust.
🔥 Tip: Don’t overcrowd the pan — sear in batches if needed.
2. Make the Glaze
-
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
-
Add brown sugar, chicken broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and paprika.
-
Stir well and let the mixture come to a gentle simmer.
-
Cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
3. Glaze the Pork Chops
-
Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spooning the glaze over the top.
-
Let them cook in the glaze for another 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chops are cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F/63°C).
-
The glaze should coat the chops nicely and become rich and glossy.
4. Serve
Remove from heat and let rest for 2–3 minutes.
Serve with extra glaze spooned over the top.
