For the Casserole:

Cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!) 3 cups

Frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes (thawed) 30 oz

Cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom for variety) 1 can (10.5 oz)

Sour cream 1 cup

Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup (plus extra for topping)

Diced onion (optional) ½ cup

Garlic powder 1 teaspoon

Paprika 1 teaspoon

Salt To taste

Black pepper To taste

Melted butter (for topping) 2 tablespoons

Crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs (for crunch) ½ cup

 

Optional Add-Ins:

Add-in

Chopped broccoli or spinach

Cooked and crumbled bacon

Grated Parmesan cheese
