For each of the three Gelfix packets, add 2 tablespoons of sugar (6 tablespoons total) and mix well. This is the total amount of sugar indicated in the recipe.
Mix the ingredients:
Mix all the berries in a saucepan. If the berries are fresh, do not warm them beforehand. Add the gelling agent with sugar and the remaining sugar.
Stir and bring to a boil. While the mixture is heating, large pieces of berries can also be chopped.
Making jam:
When the mixture comes to a boil, start adding the sugar little by little to facilitate mixing. For 3 kg of berries, I add 1.5 kg of sugar.
Bring the mixture back to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for exactly 3 minutes, remembering to stir occasionally.
